The calculator produces suggested design dimensions for a peg and matching hole by adding a selected diametral clearance and compensating for a simplified shrink percentage. Create a small test coupon to calibrate for your own printer.
Important limitations
3D printing fit depends on orientation, layer width, material, machine accuracy and calibration. Hole shrinkage is often not uniform; these numbers are guidelines, not guaranteed tolerances.
