How it works
EXIF can expose camera make and model, capture time, orientation, and GPS coordinates. This viewer parses common TIFF-based EXIF structures within JPEG/PNG/WebP containers locally and offers a JSON report for your own records.
Important limitations
HEIC, MOV and MP4 are recognized only at the container level in this MVP, not fully decoded. Some vendor-specific tags, nonstandard metadata structures, and compressed PNG text are not decoded.

Are my files uploaded?
No. The file is processed in your browser. This version does not transmit user file content to any server.
Is view image exif metadata free?
Yes. The browser processing tools are free and do not require an account or API key.
