How it works

The server attempts to write one UUID into the still image Apple maker notes and MOV QuickTime content identifier and reports whether both can be read back correctly.

Important limitations

Apple Live Photo playback requires additional timed movie metadata beyond identical identifiers. Non-Apple photos or arbitrary MOVs may not be recognized as a Live Photo. The ZIP contains a truthful validation report.

Frequently asked questions

Is my file uploaded?

Yes. This advanced tool sends the file to the Oracle processing server through the Cloudflare API gateway. Files are stored only temporarily during processing, then removed. Do not use it for highly sensitive files.

Do I need an account?

No, but the site operator must first configure the processing backend.
